My recent online shopping experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I'm sharing it as a stark warning to others. I spent $372 on glasses that arrived SCRATCHED, and trying to resolve it has been an exercise in pure frustration and ineptitude. I've been trying for two days just to talk to a human, with no luck. The 'bot' keeps sending a return label to an email I never receive, and when I finally did get through, they sent the wrong return information! This is why I felt compelled to leave a review and demand a real conversation with customer service.
Customer: I've been trying to reach someone for two days about my order. My $372 glasses arrived scratched, and I haven't received the return label your bot keeps saying it sent. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the issues you've experienced with your scratched glasses and the difficulty in reaching us. Let me pull up your order. Customer: This is unbelievable. When I finally did get through, I was sent incorrect return information. I just want to return these scratched glasses and get my money back. CS Rep: I see the issue with the incorrect label. I am truly sorry for that error. I've just resent the correct return label to the email address on file, and I've also processed a full refund for your order immediately. Customer: So, the refund is processed even before you get the glasses back? And this label will actually work? CS Rep: Yes, given the issues you've faced, we've initiated the refund immediately. The label I sent you just now is accurate and should allow for a smooth return of the glasses. You should receive a confirmation email for both the refund and the new label shortly.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of poor product quality and nonexistent customer support.
