AVOID GlassesUSA: My Nightmare of Missing Orders & Held Refunds! 💸😤
Let me tell you about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, one I hope serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering GlassesUSA. I placed an order back on February 24th, and now, after weeks, GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. They are holding $246.00 of my hard-earned money, and the tracking number still shows my glasses stuck in Atlanta, Georgia! Every time I try to get a response, all they keep telling me is "it is in transit" from what feels like a bot. I was so frustrated by this lack of resolution that I felt compelled to reach out to their customer service directly, hoping an actual person could help me get my money back.
Customer: My order #105081183, placed on February 24th, has never arrived, and I still haven't received my refund. The tracking hasn't updated in weeks. CS Rep: I apologize for the delay and frustration, sir/ma'am. Let me pull up your order for you. I see the note about the shipment being stuck. Customer: Yes, stuck since February! I've been told it's "in transit" by what sounds like a bot multiple times. I want my $246.00 back immediately. CS Rep: I understand your urgency. While it was in transit, we need to follow a specific process to confirm it's truly lost before processing the refund. It can take 7-10 business days once approved. Customer: Seven to ten business days after you finally agree to refund it? I've already waited weeks! This is atrocious. I've had to file complaints just to get this far. CS Rep: I assure you we are working to resolve this. I will escalate this case to our specialized refund department right now and send you a confirmation email of the escalation.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and enduring such a terrible experience with GlassesUSA.
